Death of Superman
I finally finished reading my Death of Superman TPB (Trade Paper Back) and wow...That was one of the greatest written comics ever created. Though the last issue sucked, I loved the rest.

Doomsday was pretty mysterious since he didn't talk...at all. Also, I loved the idea of some monster coming into a town to kill from out of no where. Doomsday killed EVERYTHING in it's path. It reminded me of Frankenstein a bit.
I also loved the story telling. I remember in one of the issues, Superman was on a talk show answering questions from an audience. When you read from panel to panel, it would cut off to Doomsday, then show Superman on a talk show talking about peace. Then it would cut off to Doomsday killing a peacful Deer, then back to Superman. I LOVED when that happened.
As for the final issue, I didn't really like it. Superman died. End of story. It's not that I love Superman or anything, it's just that some monster comes into town and Superman dies with it with everyone watching. He hardly said anything in that issue.
Still, if you're looking for a great landmark in comic book history to read, this is a start.

Today, Namco released a brand new trailer for its upcoming game,
Rebelstar: Tactical Command™. The new trailer shows off some of the
strategic combat as the Arelian Empire is under siege by Rebels in an
urban environment. The trailer also shows what players can do in this
turn-based strategy game: Blow their environments to smithereens.
The developers of Rebelstar: Tactical Command™ are also responsible
for hit PC Games such as "Laser Squad" and the "X-Con" series.
The year is 2117. The evil Arelian Empire has been in control of
planet Earth for 70 years. Initially, the Arelians brought peace and
prosperity to a world ravaged by war, disease and ecological
devastation. Later, they controlled Earth's inhabitants through fear,
using their henchmen, the Zorn, to abduct people when they turn 30.
Now, a band of rebels rises up to fight against the Arelians. A new
recruit, Jorel, quickly advances through the ranks and becomes their
leader. He organizes the rebel forces and builds a powerful global
army. Soon, he'll challenge the Arelian Empire for control of planet
Earth. – Namco.com
Rebelstar: Tactical Command™ will be available for the Gameboy
Advanced in August of this year.

Destory All Humans Score
Composer Garry Schyman has been writing musical scores for many films,
television shows and documentaries and has now been revealed as the
mastermind for the score of Pandemic's newest game: Destroy All
Humans!
The score is in the style of an old 1950 Sci-Fi movie. The Day The
Earth Stood Still is an example of the musical score. Garry Schyman
has recorded the 1 hour musical score in Los Angeles with the help of
other musical composers.
Garry Schyman comments by saying: "I never played the humor of the
game directly. Instead I wrote the score as if this was 1953 and I was
a working composer of that era. With that in mind I played it dead
serious, which led to an overly dramatic score and the humor that
comes from that approach."
Garry Schyman has worked on scores for films such as Concrete War, Hit
List, and Never Too Young To Die. Schyman has also worked on video
games such as Voyeur, Voyeur II, and Off World Interceptor.
Destroy All Humans! Will be released on the Xbox and Playstaion 2 on
June 21, 2005.
According to the latest issue of Famitsu, Japanese games magazine, the
Revolution will defiantly feature more than 1 downloadable game. In
fact, it will include 221 games to download!

My first review in 2 months.
Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 Remix
Developer: Shaba/Neversoft/Supervillian
Publisher: Activision
I haven’t played THUG 2, but I’ve played the rest of the THPS series. The series is great, but this one ruined it for me.
Graphics: THUG 2 Remix looks great. Everything is just like the console version, except with more glitches. There are some texture problems and black walls that fade when you move closer to them. Walls and floors seem to flicker black when you are near them. If there weren’t any glitches, the graphics would be above average.
Gameplay: The gameplay in THUG 2 Remix has gotten a little more challenging. Once again, it’s just like the console version. Neversoft managed to get the Create-A- modes on here. There is Create-A-Skater, Create-A-Graphic, Create-A-Trick, and Create-A-Goal. Unfortunately the Park Editor isn’t featured. I’ve also noticed something very annoying with multiplayer, when playing WiFi, you can’t use your special slow down mode. This means you actually have to balance! I’ve also found that when watching cut scenes…the character’s eyes seem to buldge out of their skull. I’m not sure if that actually happened in the original THUG 2, but it’s actually annoying me. Remix has some new levels and characters that you can play as, so it’s kind of new. The goals usably consist of finding a secret skater, getting a high score, or knocking something down so I wouldn’t expect much variety. I mean, there isn’t that many things you can do with a skateboard…
Sound: The absolute WORST problem with this game is the dialogue! When you bail, or fall, you don’t hear any “ARRRG!” or “Owwww!” It’s all gone! There is no in game dialogue throughout the levels. This ruined the experience very much for me. No character talks to you or yells at you when you knock into them in a level. Another thing that kind of made me mad was the soundtrack. THUG 1, THPS 3, and THPS 4 all had a great mixture of great music. THUG 2 Remix has a great mix of pure crap. There are only a few songs I have on my play list right now. The soundtrack includes Aesop Rock, Frank Sinatra, Johnny Cash, Rancid and some other musicians I don’t care about. There is even an anti-Bush song on here…a metal song…So you can rock AND skate against Bush! When you pause the screen and take a break, the audio seems to turn off by itself when you’re playing. I have no idea how to bring it back other than reset the game, which is a pain to do thanks to loading.
Story: THUG 1’s storyline was much better than this one. THUG 2 Remix’s story has to do with you going around destructing all the places you go to. The World Destruction Tour, hosted by Bam Margera and Tony Hawk. Hooray…
Control: The main problem I had with this, which also killed my experience, is the Triangle button. When I play this game on my PS2 I use my right index finger to grind. Now I must use my thumb because it’s too far away. Another issue is the analog stick. When you’re off your board and running, you can use it to move, but when you’re on the board, you can only use the analog stick to move the camera. For some reason the the analog controls tend to switch.
Replayability: Though this game has its negatives, I can’t stop playing it. I feel like I need to find every gap there is and unlock all of the bonuses. Other than unlocking and finding gaps, there isn’t much to do besides free skate and play online.
THUG 2 Remix has tons of glitches and errors that ruin the gameplay experience. You will have more fun with the console versions.
Hits:
Fun levels.
Special Guests and Characters are really cool.
WiFi play.
Misses:
Bad audio.
Major glitches.
Repetitive goals.
Graphics: 7
Gameplay: 7
Sound: 6
Story: 5
Control: 6
Replayability: 8
Overall: 6.5

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
WHY!!?!?!?!? HOW COULD YOU END THIS MOVIE SERIES LIKE THIS!?!?!? The 6 episode movie saga ended with Episode III in such a depressind and sad way...I really don't think that Lucas should've ended the series on such a sad note. The original Star Wars were great movies and very happy...even episode I was. Episode II came along and made the most boring movie in the series, then episode III came along and friggen made Anakin Darth Vader and made me pissed off. Of course I knew he was going to be Darth, but the way he turned into Darth was actually really depressing. The movie was good, but the way it turned out to be was...horrible.
And on the note of movies/films...George A. Romero, director of zombie classics like Dawn of the Dead and Night of the Living Dead, has a new movie coming out this summer called
Land of the Dead. This is supposed to be his best movie yet, but I'm not too sure. It's going to be in theators and that means it'll probably be NC-17 and still edited...His movies are known to be really sickning. The plot sounds cool though: "The living dead have taken over the world, and the last humans live in a walled city to protect themselves as they come to grips with the situation." I can't wait.
